CLUB UPDATE - JUNE 2009

Hi Everyone
When I was updating the website, I became distracted and started reading some of the older updates and found one from January 2008.  In this newsletter I said that one of my goals last year was to get out into the bush more.  Sadly, this was not to be as the pressures of work took preference!
However, this year I have made a concerted effort to get into the bush more often and we have managed to get the club moving again this year. Have a look at some of the FUN-tastic trips that still remain for the year ahead.  We are looking forward to you joining us at these outings.
June 12 – 16 - Tuli Botswana
July 26 - De Wildt track, Brits. 4x4 and 4x2 – bring picnic lunch / braai goodies
August 21 – 25 - Discover St Lucia. Camping. 4x4 and 4x2
September 17 – 21 - Dolphin Swims, snorkelling and sand driving - Mozambique (Ponto do Ouro) –camping. 4x4 and 4x2’s
October 25 – Berakha 4x4 and 4x2’s. Bring picnic lunch / braai
November 8 - Year end bring and braai at the track in Midrand
 
2010 -  March / April :  Mozambique Camping trip to Inhambane  (10 days) - Depart Friday return on the following Sunday
Our "Discover St Lucia" and Mozambique outing to Ponto do Ouro are now open for bookings.  We combine sand driving with dolphin swims and will camp at both destinations. For more info, contact Vivian on 011-0220568/9
